Women’s Only Retreats (held with our associates) provide a space for us to reconnect with ourselves, in the company of other great women. The small group retreats are held at locations within 45 minutes of the CBD that allow you to rest inwardly and connect with nature outwardly. Along with some time to yourself and good company, you will experience learning based on the disciplines of ontological coaching, mindfulness and various body awareness and movement forms. All activities are an ‘invitation’ and your participation is entirely your own choice.

Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. (Chief Seattle)
In this retreat we will spend time being with and reflecting upon our relationship with nature: connecting; listening, learning; replenishing, delighting, healing. In more fully understanding our interdependence with the natural world, we may well find ways of living more harmoniously and healthily with ourselves, each other and the earth.
Along with some time to yourself and good company, you will experience learning based on the disciplines of ontological coaching, mindfulness, gentle yoga and courage & renewal principles and practices. All activities are an ‘invitation’ – participation is entirely your own choice.
Experienced facilitators will offer you a range of reflective individual and group processes. We will spend time:
Being in nature and considering how we can interact more with the natural world in our everyday lives
Listening deeply for the wisdom nature offers us
Reflecting on our relationship with the natural world
Delighting in the beauty and strength nature provides
Allowing ourselves to be with the pain of our natural world and engage in healing practices
Strengthening commitment and empowerment to better nurture self and the earth
… in order to return rested, replenished and inspired.
Experienced facilitators will offer you a range of reflective individual and group processes. This retreat is facilitated by Nicky Howe (CEO, ontological practitioner, leadership, and management coach), Anne Courtney (coach, retreat facilitator and leadership consultant) and Kathryn Choules (educator, researcher, Mindfulness facilitator, and practitioner).
What women who’ve been on our retreats are saying:
Birds, bush, hills, quiet. A place to share food, stories. To listen, think, be. Jennifer Binns
These wonderful women will create a safe and nurturing and fun space to think, play and reflect in a beautiful relaxing environment with wonderful food and company. Tara Hoyne
Nicky, Anne and Kathryn provided the perfect space for us all to reflect on our everyday challenges and to find our own solutions to overcome these. Most importantly, the retreat was a reminder that we all have the wisdom inside us to find the answers to our questions, but all too often the busyness of life and its demands blind us to that basic truth. Karin MacArthur
I arrived feeling frazzled, with a tired mind and tired body – with heartfelt nurturing, my soul was honoured and my body rested; all among like-minded womenfolk, nestled in peaceful surroundings. I left reenergised, armed with sustainable tools. Indulgence – Absolutely Not!! Rejuvenated, Refreshed and Rebalanced- Absolutely YES!! So when is the next retreat? Josique Lynch
I found the opportunity to have time away from home – my family and work environment was really useful in accessing my own inner wisdom. The sessions facilitated discussion among the women participants and provided tools to consider issues of concern. The retreat environment provided was respectful of a range of learning styles, experiences and backgrounds. F Britton
